Everything you need to know about APC registration
The complete APEP pathway costs $8,321 AUD in APC fees (from 21 October 2026): Eligibility Assessment ($1,170), Cultural Safety Training ($242), Written Assessment ($2,078), Capability Assessment ($2,928), Clinical Workshop ($1,903), plus Ahpra registration ($645). Our 6-month preparation bundle is $805 AUD. Total investment: ~$9,771 AUD. APC fees shown are those from 21 October 2026. Fees paid on or before 20 October 2026 are at the earlier amounts: the full APEP pathway $7,814 (Written Assessment $2,017, Clinical Workshop $1,464, Cultural Safety Training $235, Express FLYR eligibility $1,415; Eligibility and Capability Assessment unchanged). Confirm the current amount on the APC website before you pay.
The APC does not publish official pass rates for the Written or Capability Assessments, so any specific percentage you see quoted is an estimate, including any quoted by preparation providers. We don't publish one, because we have no way to verify it. Contact the APC directly if you need current statistics.
You cannot work as a physiotherapist until fully registered. However, you may work in other healthcare roles or as a physio assistant under supervision.
The complete process typically takes 12-18 months, including credential assessment, exam preparation, and AHPRA registration.
